About

Welcome to the Asia Network for AI Safety (ANAIS)

ANAIS helps AI safety hubs and communities take root across Asia. We are starting in East Asia and Southeast Asia, then expanding to South Asia and Central Asia.

Our focus is on national AI safety groups in Asia’s middle-power countries. We work towards:

  • Stronger national groups: more AI safety groups, with more members and a bigger presence in their countries
  • Shared resources and infrastructure that make it easier for those groups to start and grow
  • Collaboration across borders, so national groups learn from each other and work together

Whether you are starting a group in your country or already running one, we would love to hear from you.
